Monday 9.30 am through to Friday 2.30 pm

Raft Building East Fork River

Up for the challenge of Bamboo Raft building learning design and types of lashings with ropes. Learning river crossing safety as an individual and as a group using human-chain and ropes.

PRIVATE GUIDE LEARNING AND MEETING EXOTIC ANIMALS

Forever Wild is a dedicated exotic animal sanctuary with a mission to educate and protect neglected, abandoned, and abused animals like Big Cats, Grizzly Bears, Hyena, and many other exotic animals. The day will bring awareness to our children that exotic animal ownership is a big problem in the United States that is devastating and ultimately harmful and very sad with irresponsible ownership. We also get to walk the fields with Deer and also Deer feeding.

BUSHCRAFT

Bushcraft involves learning survival skills, how to create and build necessary items in the wilderness, and learning outdoor preparedness and culinary skills.

Monday 9.30 am through to Friday 2.30 pm

• Camp Manu checkout includes a waiver form for two participants. Please fill out a waiver for any additional camp participants. Extra waiver forms can be found on the waiver page.

• Camp Drop Off and Pick Up at Griffith Park Recreation Center, 3401 Riverside Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027. Near the Soccer Fields and Tennis Courts.

• Kids must have lunch packed and snacks for the first day only. No CANDY or JUNK FOOD. Please dress for Wilderness Camping.
