CAMP MANU WAIVER

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: DO NOT E-SIGN UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE STATEMENT BELOW

In consideration of the services and/or property provided, the undersigned for myself and any minor children for which I am the parent, legal guardian, or otherwise responsible, any heirs, personal representatives, or assigns, do hereby fully release and hold harmless Walk-A-Bout Outdoor Adventures, it's principals, directors, officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from any and all liability, expense (including attorney's fees), loss or charge associated with the Activities, and further waive any cause of action (whether in tort, contract or strict liability) or complaint for any damage whatsoever arising from or related to any cause whatsoever (except that which is gross negligence or intentional misconduct solely by Walk-A-Bout Outdoor Adventures). I further agree to indemnify, defend and/or reimburse Walk-A-Bout Outdoor Adventures for any and all attorney's fees and costs Walk-A-Bout Ourdoor Adventures or principals, directors, shareholders, officers, agents, employees, and volunteers may incur should I bring legal action against Walk-A-Bout Outdoor Adventures and loss (except that which is gross negligence or intentional misconduct solely by Walk-A-Bout Outdoor Adventures). The release, waiver, indemnity, right of defense and reimbursement shall survive the termination of the Activity and have no limit in scope or duration. The undersigned specifically and knowingly release all rights under California Civil Code Section 1542 which provide; "A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR." By Signing Below I/We understand: - I/We assume all risks and hazards incidental to such participation including transportation to and from activities, and I/We do hereby waive, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless Walk-A-Bout Outdoor Adventures, participants and persons transporting my/our child – except to the extent and in the amount covered by liability insurance. - I/We understand Medical insurance will NOT be provided by Walk-A-Bout Outdoor Adventures. - I/We understand there are inherent risks associated with Walk-A-Bout Outdoor Adventures and agree to assume all inherent and non-inherent risks. I intend for this Waiver/Release to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and that if any portion of this waiver should be deemed invalid, the remainder will remain in full legal force and effect. - I/We agree and understand that all Safety Policies enforced while participating in Walk-A-Bout Outdoor Adventures apply while participating within camp times. - I/We agree in the event or illness or injury, I consent to authorize it's Principals, directors, officers, agents, employees transportation to the nearest Medical facility for Medical Care/Treatment and agree to assume full responsibility for all associated medical, transportation and related costs. I consent to whatever x-rays, examination, testing, medication, medical treatment, surgical or dental procedures, hospital care, and ANY other treatment/consultation are deemed necessary in the best judgment of the medical professionals until I can be reached and am able to participate fully in those decisions. We are Wilderness Medicine & First Aid Certified. This is very important for us to know so that we are prepared with knowledge for you or your child's safety. Cancellation Policy

At Camp Manu, we are committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment that promotes racial and social justice and prohibits all forms of bullying. Any participant that violates our policy may be asked to leave for the remainder of the camp upon parent counseling and notification. Full payment is due at registration sign-up. If you decide to cancel, please cancel via email @ campmanu2020@gmail.com Cancellation Terms: - If a camper cancels 30+ days before the camp start date they are eligible for a full refund minus a $75 Admin Fee. - If a camper cancels 15 to 29 days before the camp start date they are eligible for a 50% refund minus a $75 Admin Fee. - Within 14 days of the trip, all sales are final unless in the case of an unforeseen Emergency and Walk-A-Bout has been notified as soon as possible. If cancellation or non-attendance occurs for day/days during the week of camp - for any and or all reasons, all applied monies are forfeited. In the case of emergencies, please contact me as soon as possible. Cancellation Policy is Binding per Registration. All information provided in this policy is 100% confidential and will NOT be shared with ANY outside data collections or other personnel or companies and is kept secure.
