Bridge to Nowhere - Gold Mine & River Walk

• Monday, July 15th, 2024

• 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Exploring the Gold Mine is always a hit with the kids. It also challenges them to face fears of the dark. They all succeed. Then it’s a great walk down to the river and walking upriver in the water. We make fish traps and make rock pools.

Learning w/ Ranger Dave

Learning about Geology, Water Conservation, Native American History, and Leave No Trace Trash Talk.

West Fork River - Strap Line River Crossing and Hike

• Wednesday, July 17th, 2024

• 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Shaded Wilderness Creek Hike with many sitting pools. Learn to slide over a streamline to cross over water.

Lewis Falls

• Thursday, July 18th, 2024

• 9:00 AM 3:30 PM

Gorgeous, scenic, and Serene Trail alongside a Running Creek, meeting up to a beautiful, angel-like waterfall for lunch.

Manzanita Chilao Hike

• Friday, July 19th, 2024

• 9:00 AM 3:30 PM

Historical hiking area leading down to an amazing river. Learning trail awareness, and navigational techniques, and discovering a lot of animal activity.

• Camp Manu checkout includes a waiver form for two participants. Please fill out a waiver for any additional camp participants. Extra waiver forms can be found on the waiver page.

• Camp Drop Off and Pick Up at Griffith Park Recreation Center, 3401 Riverside Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027. Near the Soccer Fields and Tennis Courts.

• Kids must have lunch packed and snacks for the day. Please dress for the weather.
